Position Description

Comptrain is seeking a highly driven individual to be our Product Manager. Comptrain delivers elite programming and resources through (3) platforms: the Comptrain website, the Comptrain Gym web app and the Comptrain mobile app. Each platform speaks to a unique audience while working together to deliver a cohesive company-wide strategy.

The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing product architecture, developing long-term roadmaps, coordinating sprints, conducting market research, and managing the Design and Engineering teams to execute all goals.

Reporting to the CEO, the Product Manager also will work closely with other Comptrain departments such as Marketing and Coaching to be fully aligned on company-wide objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define the product roadmaps and work closely with teams of designers, engineers, coaches, and senior management to ensure delivery
  • Discover new ways to elevate Comptrain to our existing user base while helping to boost new user acquisition
    Deliver world-class product experiences
  • Ensure product features are valuable to customers, viable for the business, easy to use, and technically feasible
  • Write clear and concise user stories and requirements, prioritizing development items to align with the product roadmap
  • Build and maintain relationships across the organization
  • Monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements
  • Identify opportunities for customer testing and drive execution while measuring and reporting results
  • Partner with the GTM team to prepare operations, marketing, sales, and support product channels for launch
  • Pursue product and industry knowledge, identify trends and opportunities, and become a subject matter expert on designated products
  • Manage content updates via WordPress

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage priorities, including multiple products
  • WordPress experience
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to clearly communicate across levels of the organization and departments in writing, orally and interpersonally
  • Decisive, and able to eloquently defend your decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience as a software product manager
  • Show deep commitment to solving customer problems and empathy for the consumer
  • Conversant in the technical aspects of building software
  • Mobile app development experience and/or consumer based product driven company experience required
  • Works well with others to support shared goals
  • Ability to learn quickly
