Ben Bergeron

Founder

Ben Bergeron trains some of the world’s fittest athletes. A former Ironman competitor, triathlete and CrossFit Games competitor, he has coached athletes to six world championships. As coach to the reigning Fittest Man and Fittest Woman on Earth, Ben is considered one of the top coaches in the sport of CrossFit. He created and continues to provide CompTrain for free as a way of sharing his knowledge with the CrossFit community.

Ben has dedicated his life to helping others become the best version of themselves. He founded CrossFit New England in 2008, where he coaches his members on their quest to improve their fitness, health, and approach to life beyond the gym. He currently programs for thousands of competitive athletes through CompTrain, and shares best practices for affiliate owners and coaches through Business of Excellence.

Harry Palley

Head Coach

Harry Palley was Ben and Heather’s first hired coach at CrossFit New England in 2009. A former infantryman in the Marine Corps and CrossFit Games competitor, Harry’s passion is helping others not only become better athletes, but better people.

As Head Coach, Harry manages the programming for CompTrain Masters, CompTrain Teens, and CompTrain Class. He coached 18 Masters athletes at the 2016 CrossFit Games, the inaugural year of the CompTrain Masters program, and is looking forward to coaching 56 Masters athletes at the 2017 CrossFit Games.

Dan Delomba

Coach

Dan DeLomba is a coach and utility man for all things CompTrain. Dan works closely with many of the Masters Games Athletes and also oversees the Teen program. Working with Teens, he helps lay the foundation for a successful athletic career and a life of character.

Dan is also a full-time coach at CrossFit New England, where he is best known as the creative mind behind naming the daily workouts.

Christine Bald

Media

Christine tells the story of CompTrain philosophy, athletes and events in support of the broader CT mission—making better people and better athletes. She publishes the CompTrain Photo Journal during CompTrain Camp and contributed to Chasing Excellence with Ben Bergeron.

Christine is a full-time coach at CrossFit New England, where she also doubles as Media Director. Christine has supported the CrossFit Games Media team since 2013 and is the Director of Media for the Wodapalooza Fitness Festival in Miami, FL.

Christine lives in Boston, where she refuses to acclimate to New England winter.

Patrick Cummings

Marketing

Patrick Cummings has been creating media within the CrossFit community for over ten years. In 2007, he helped start Again Faster Equipment. Shooting for AF and CrossFit HQ for years, he’s filmed at multiple CrossFit Games, including in Aromas in 2009. Since leaving Again Faster, he’s helped found Klokov Equipment, worked with Fuel For Fire, and shot more video for CrossFit HQ.

In 2015, Patrick began working with Ben & Harry on the Business of Excellence, which has since blossomed to a bigger role with CompTrain and CrossFit New England.

His greatest athletic feat came in 2007 when he beat James Hobart in a workout.

Ashtan Moore

Digital

Ashtan Moore builds systems and online platforms that exist to drive the vision of the founder and impact individuals in a meaningful and sustainable way; as such, Ashtan oversees the management of CompTrain’s varied digital platforms, including the Ben Bergeron platform and CrossFit New England.

Ashtan loves and supports the CompTrain family through his DC-based digital group, Model B, where after 13 years he’s still impressed that he gets to look at the Washington Monument every day and, when he’s doing nasty rowing workouts, sometimes pretends he’s Kevin Spacey from House of Cards.
